Karl Lagerfield designed this Limited Edition Chanel Bicycle, to contend with the $3,500 Hermes bicycle released a few weeks ago. There were only 50 made and less than 20 available in the US. This luxury ride retailed for $17,000, with resellers marking them up to $28,000.
The 8 speed Chanel bicycle has many fine details, like the quilted leather handles, seat and pant guard. Even the bike pump is covered in Chanel’s signature quilted leather. The bike also features two detachable quilted flap bags and a detachable jewelry roll behind the seat.
Personally, I think the Chanel bicycle is way overpriced and just plain ridiculous. But if you really want this ride, you can find them in Chanel boutiques.
