Ferragamo handbags are finally getting the attention it craves in magazine editorials but I'm still not 100% sold. Most of the bag designs are fairly simple and boring, as well as quite costly. The Sofia tote is okay, with the signature hardware but it is nothing special. I do like the zippered back compartment, which it needs because this flap "Kelly bag" style is quite inconvenient. If you have ever carried this type of bag and opened it while standing you know that half of the contents in your bag come spilling out. I never use my Kelly unless the bag is purely ornamental. But I do like the brand's conservative style, like Tod's, and will continue to keep my eyes on the collections. Do you think these bags are worth this kind of dough? $2,115 and $1,163 respectively.
