I really like the clean, sophisticated look of this Fendi handbag. It's their Maxi satchel, and I'm cringing at everything about the name. First of all, Maxi? What does that remind you of? Second, a satchel reminds me of a burlap sack, certainly not a beautiful designer handbag. OK, the name aside, this is a beautiful purse. I love the color combination, but while it's a grey and black, the grey has a pretty violet hue, and gold hardware warms up the overall look. For Fendi, this is a fairly large bag, and would work for an everyday bag, but with the dressier chain straps it's also a great bag for evening. Available at Saks, $1,530.
