Fendi Tapestry Skin bag
The new 'it' bag for the Fendi handbags of Spring and Summer 2010 is the Skin bag. It's named so because each leather satchel comes with a fabric covering, or skin, that can come off. The black Fendi bag above is my favorite with a very pretty tapestry skin, however I'm not sure why the initials JS are on the front, unless these are meant to be monogrammed bags. The Fendi Peek a Boo is back, and this time with a beautiful tapestry exterior that is sure to be one of their most expensive bags of the season. The Firenze bag in supple leather is absolutely gorgeous, and completes the beautiful collection. The one exception is the plexiglass clutch. First of all, a clear bag is never, ever a good thing. Ever. Then the grommet detail stops in the form of a hand, a play on where a clutch should be carried. Not good, but the rest of the collection more than makes up for it.
