The Dolce & Gabanna Spring/Summer handbag collection had a few new designs, as well as variations of previous designs. The large flap handbag, like the one pictured above, is a design they did last season, but the colors and materials are new, as well as the gold metal nameplate. I LOVE the nameplate. Louis Vuitton recently added a nameplate to some of their bags and the reaction was hugely popular, as it will be with the Dolce & Gabanna handbags. Also a repeated design are the jewel strap shoulder bags, also with fresh colors and materials like raffia and knit. New to this collection are the basket style bags, which aren't very appealing in my opinion. Overall I think this is a great collection, however the best part of the show was the shoes.
