I love the Marc Jacobs Stam bags in general, but this hot pink version is fabulous. The Stam design is remniscent of the classic coin purse with the kiss lock closure, and the quilted body further emphasize the classic look of this bag.

This designer handbag is pink quilted leather with gold toned hardware. It has a softly pleated body with front zippered pocket, pink leather and gold-toned chain shoulder strap and gold toned clip closure. Inside is beige satin lining and one back wall zippered pocket. While I haven’t been thrilled with the recent crop of Marc Jacobs handbags, I always love his Stam bags, and thankfully he recreates the design every season. For the Fall 2010 collection he made a metallic houndstooth version which I absolutely love, and it’s on trend since houndstooth print is HUGE in the upcoming season.

This is a blue leather shoulder bag with a shimmering gold toned houndstooth pattern. It has clear sparkling crystals in a uniform pattern on the body of the bag. The leather is softly pleated and there is a single black leather and gold toned chain handle. It has the Stam signature gold toned clip closure and beige satin lining. $1,098 at Mytheresa.com.

Olive fur shoulder bag.

I have to admit, for furry handbags which I normally can’t stand, this Marc Jacobs bag isn’t that bad. Of course, it would be beautiful if it was all leather or an exotic without hair, but at least the fur is manageable. I like the classic flap design and padlock detail, as well as the resin and gold chain strap. The Fall 2010 Marc Jacobs handbags will be available for sale by the end of the summer.

The Marc Jacobs handbags debuted in his Fall 2010 collection fell into two categories, furry and simple. Personally I don't like fur of any sort on my handbags, but that aside the bags were clean and structured. All of the bags were done in shades of black and white, leading some critics to say he was 'playing it safe' with this collection.

The simple bags consisted of various satchels and clutch bags, almost all made out of exotic materials, from croc to ostrich. These bags are simple in design meaning they are free of embellishments and tassels, a complete 180 degrees from the Spring 2010 collection.

Overall, the bags in this collection are sophisticated and classicly chic. Unfortunately, I can't say the same thing about his Fall 2010 shoe collection.

Where do I begin with this bag? WTF does the name mean, Fluo Passamentry Orchid? The rope detail on the front looks like a Christmas tree, and since I don't wear holiday themed clothing, I sure as hell don't want a holiday themed designer handbag. Those random squares on the tree, reminiscent of ornaments are fake gemstones held in a cheap four pronged metal setting just waiting to fall out (think gumball machine ring). All of this on a brown leather flap bag. OK, it could possibly work on a material tote in his Marc by Marc Jacobs line, but not on a leather satchel. Lastly, the purple woven strap, which is actually purple and violet shoe laces woven over the brown leather strap, which you can see through the weaving, by the way. At least it doesn't have his ridiculously long shoulder strap. $1,495 at Saks.
