Regular readers of this blog know I LOVE the Fendi Peek a Boo bag, and I especially love it in seasonal versions like this velvet one above. A black or tan peek a boo is practical for year round, everyday use, but seasonal velvet would be a great bag to pull out in the cold weather months for people that use several different bags throughout the year. The Peek a boo is a classic design and will be around for years, like the always stylish Boston bag.

This Fendi handbag is brown velvet with black leather trim. It has double top gold toned turn lock closures, a single top handle and detachable shoulder strap. There is gold toned stud detailing with small signature logo on the sides and contrasting light and dark brown signature Zucca logo lining with two compartments with one zippered pocket. Fendi handbags are not among my favorites for the upcoming season with the exception of the classic peek a boo. I love the simple and sophisticated design of this bag, but the pink stingray interior gives it a youthful and feminine appeal.

This designer handbag is an off-white leather peek-a-boo tote. It has double top silver/gold toned turn lock closures, a single top handle and a detachable shoulder strap. There is gold toned stud detailing with small signature logo on the sides of the bag. There is contrasting hot pink stingray optic on the interior with two compartments and one zippered pocket. I have really been digging the Fendi handbags that are coming out for Fall 2010. I almost always love their baguettes, like this bag, because they come in bright and/or embellished styles.

This designer handbag is a leopard print ‘baguette pony’ from Fendi . It has metal popper fastening with the Fendi logo and buckle fastenings on either side of the bag with three buckle holes to adjust the strap length. A clasp inside the bag makes the strap removable. It is multi colored pony hair with canvas lining and a zip pocket with metal logo inside. It is a medium sized baguette, measuring width 10 ½ inches and height 6 ½ inches. $1,317 Available here .

In general, Fendi handbags are hit or miss for me. I love their baguettes and the Peek-a-boo, but my opinion of their runway bags vary from collection to collection, and to be honest I’m not crazy about the Fall 2010 bags. But THIS bag I love.

This designer handbag is metallic, shimmering red softened leather. It has a structured surface and pleat detailing on the front flap with gold toned signature FF logo. It has a detachable chain handle, magnetic snap closure under flap, and black lining with one slot pocket. $551 Available here.

The Fendi handbags for the upcoming Fall 2010 season are some new styles and some recreations of classic styles, like this pony hair peek a boo. This particular style bag is one of my favorites, because it’s a classic and sophisticated design and it has two separate compartments, which is more convenient.I also really like this bag because it’s a limited design, so there will not be many people carrying it.

This bag has a leather frame and multi-colored ponyskin exterior. The inside lining is brown leather in two separate compartments with one internal zip pocket. The bag has protective feet and gold hardware. It measures height 30cm, width 40cm, and depth 15cm. $4,248 at LUISAVIAROMA.

The beaded Fendi baguettes are hard to come by, as they only make one or two a year. The beaded Fendi handbags are very labor intense and are handmade with intricate detail, but I think that’s what makes them so special and truly a collectors item. This version, with pretty floral embroidery exudes femininity and class.

This bag is taupe leather with all over beading. Multicolored beading decorates the flap in a floral design. The floral embroidery adorns the top of the bag towards the back. It has a single flat leather shoulder strap with oversized stitch detailing. The flap fastens with a gold metal, FF logo embossed magnet.
