I absolutely adore the new totes, especially the pink sequined one above ($398). The other totes sport heart details, so I thought they would be great to feature for Valentine's day. The bags weren't made for the holiday, as they are year round bags, however what better excuse to get a new Coach bag (or beg your honey for one). Totes are $268 and $298 respectively. Since the late 1980's the Coach label has slowly, but surely been stepping up it's branding to be the number one affordable, designer handbag company. With each passing season they get better and better, offering more high end bags, but always designing their staple quality handbags for under $500. The bag above, from their 2010 spring/summer collection is one of their high end bags, a metallic python hobo. It's a beautiful bag and will probably retail around 2k. The white tweed pictured below is a runway collection bag, so it will be upwards 1k, but in the world of designer handbags, that's nothing. Last pictured is a floral Audrey bag and is one of their wildly popular logo bags, but in a fresh, spring-y design. The logo bags are usually quite affordable, with prices between $200-$500.

Sometimes I need a bright and fun handbag to complete my look. This coach handbag is absolutely fabulous! It's a dressy day bag that easily transitions into a night on the town. The Coach label has really been vamping up their image to be a key player in the designer handbag community. They are making bags from exotic materials like snakeskin and eel, as well as fun bags like this sequin tote. So cute! $398 at NORDSTROM.com.

One of my all time favorite handbag brands is Coach. You can always find a fabulous bag at a reasonable price in a Coach boutique, whether you want to spend two hundred bucks or a thousand.

Celebs can usually be seen at some time or another carrying Coach handbags, be it Molly Sims or Hayden Panettiere (shown). She's carrying the camel colored patent sabrina bag, one of my favorite from their current collection. I also like the plum version. This bag is patent leather with a detachable leather and chain shoulder strap. However I think the gold chain in the strap are pert of what makes this a great bag, so it should stay attached, even if your not using it. Available at Nordstrom, $458.

The Coach Handbags for Fall 2009 seem to be moving away from the logo heavy designs that have been so popular in the last few years.  The bags for this Fall are more design and style conscious, upping the chic factor for this label. I'm sure they will continue to put out their bread and butter CC monogram handbags, but I love that they are branching out. The two bags shown are the Studded Sabrina leather bag and the Metallic Cambridge textured satchel.
