These Christian Dior handbags are some of the best in my opinion. This spring and summer 2010 collection feature exotic python as the primary material, but they also have charm detail that give the bags more personality. The above bag has a fabulous gun holster charm that perfectly accents the more masculine briefcase style bag. The below bag has a sequined padlock charm. The Dior bags for next season are incredibly sophisticated and chic.

I am eagerly anticipating the Sex and the City 2 movie, mostly so I can check out the fabulous handbags and shoes. Here are the girls standing outside Bergdorf Goodman with Charlotte holding a gorgeous pink lizard Dior handbag (she's wearing Louboutins also). I'm not sure if it's actual lizard or embossed leather since it's not out for public release yet. Either way, it's a beautiful handbag, especially with the cute D, I, O, R charms. The bag is their classic and practical tote design.

Demi Moore lives truly charmed life. She has a gorgeous, young husband that adores her, she's beautiful, and plenty of money to afford her the best handbags like this Granville from Dior. She toted the fabulous bag while visiting the set of A Beautiful Life (hubby is producing). The bag is hand stitched calfskin leather with silver hardware and charms. The shoulder strap is removable. The Christian Dior Fall 2009 handbag collection was safe, and very much in line with what we have seen from John Galliano in recent collections. The classic and sophisticated designs like the quilted, structured tote bag is back, as well as silk, beaded clutches. Since shoppers are spending money on investment pieces before trends, these classic, conservative designs are more likely to move.

 Christian Dior is totally doing it for me this season with his clutches. These three stone clutches are absolutely gorgeous. The red one is coral with silk lining beneath. The color combination perfectly offsets the beautiful deep orange-red of the coral. The green clutch is malachite with a deep forest green silk lining. The dark green silk matches the darker green bands in the malachite. The blue clutch is lapis with slightly contrasting purple silk lining that beautifully compliments the stone. I honestly don't think I could choose if I had to pick one, they are so equally beautiful. But since they are $2,700, I won't have that problem. Available at Vivre.

These handbags debuted at the Christian Dior Spring 2009 Runway show. I really like them. I love the way they incorporate the use of more than one material, like the alligator and cracked leather with the giraffe print fur. The shape of the bags is somewhat unconventional, but it works. And I like the fur detail on the strap as well. I look forward to seeing them in the stores and, depending on the price point, buying one.

Really, the shoes stole the show in this collection.
