I’m really digging the Alexander Wang handbags with the studded bottoms that came out earlier this year. The new collection features more and different designs, but  the signature studded bottom remains. This is one of his Rococo mini duffels, but this one is laser cut leather that gives the bag a bit of texture and the illusion of velvet.

This bag is a black leather round duffel bag. It has a box pleat at the side, engraved brass flat cone studs at the bottom, dual rolled handles and a detachable shoulder strap. This year I have truly fallen for Alexander Wang handbags, and this Brenda zipper bag is one of my favorites. It has come out in many colors, but for spring I really like this soft grey color. These designer handbags have  a Hollywood following, ensuring them to be a huge success. Some of the first versions to be released (army green and black) already sold out.

This bag is soft grey suede with silver tone zippers and cross screw stud trim. It has zip and welt pockets at the front, coil chain shoulder straps that are threaded through side loops, and a zippered shoulder cushion. Alexander Wang handbags burst into the fashion scene during this season more than any other in recent memory due to his stud bottom handbags. The most popular was the Rococo mini duffel and the bucket bag. The Rococo (shown) has been more popular in large part due to the classic shape, very much like the Louis Vuitton Speedy and the Gucci Boston bag.

This bag is textured black leather with a box pleat and hidden zippered pocket on the side. The flat cone studs that cover the bottom of the bag are engraved with the Alexander Wang logo. Alexander Wang handbags are becoming very popular, due in part to their celebrity following, and also because of their chic designs and studded bottoms. Each of his bags from this season have this feature, and it not only looks cool, it protects the bottom of the bag. This version of the ‘Diego’ is leopard print pony hair on the front and black leather on the back. It has a slot pocket on back and a drawstring opening. Adjustable and removable shoulder strap attached with black stud detailing on one side, as well as a shorter top handle. Alexander Wang handbags are gaining popularity fast, partly because of their super cool designs, and partly due to superstars like Rhianna and Jen Aniston toting them around. I would add that Lindsey Lohan also totes his bags, but does that really help their coolness factor? Anyway, this is the Studded Diego Bucket bag and Wang said the inspiration behind the design was Native American suede pouches, however his version has less scalps and more studs. I'm a big fan of the convenient and roomy design, as I always carry alot of 'stuff'. $795
