That's A Fabulous Handbag

The fabulous Demanta clutch was one of Alexander McQueen’s final designs before his death, and since then they have been released in various colors and materials. The latest version is this one covered in small gold studs. Although this is a clutch bag, as you can see from the picture below it’s a nice sized bag that can hold most of your essentials so it’s both super chic and functional.

This Alexander McQueen handbag is light brown leather with all over small gold studs. It has the DeManta clutch signature fold-down top edges accented with a antiqued gold-tone snap button and platform bottom. This bag measures 15 1/2" wide x 2" deep x 8" high. $979 Available here.

I love this Miu Miu handbag. It has a somewhat retro, 50’s look that is very prevalent in this seasons Miu Miu collection. This is a black wool-crêpe and patent leather bag with metal flowers. It has double top handles, oversized silver toned twist-lock closure, and silver toned snap frame at top. Inside is contrasting green lining with one back wall zipper pocket and slot pocket. While I find the label in general to be somewhat eccentric, I do love the Miu Miu handbags. Their signature bags are super soft leather, either quilted like the above bag or braided or intertwined in another fashion. The deep stitching on this bag give it a dimensional quality and add character to an otherwise simple black tote.

For those of us who love Alexander McQueen skull clutches, this is another “must have”. The Alexander McQueen skull bags have a spell over me that make me part with large sums of money.
